U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, held his farewell meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, during which he reiterated the United States’ unwavering commitment to a sovereign Kosovo and its integration into European and Euro-Atlantic institutions.
In his remarks, Hovenier emphasized the continued support from the U.S. for Kosovo’s advancement on its path toward greater European integration. “In my farewell meeting today with Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, I reiterated our commitment to a sovereign, democratic, and multi-ethnic Kosovo and reinforced our support for Kosovo’s progress towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration,” Hovenier said in a statement.
