Hoxhaj holds meetings at Delphi Forum, highlights international support for Kosovo

During his participation in the Delphi Economic Forum in Greece, former Foreign Minister and PDK MP Enver Hoxhaj held a series of meetings with important international figures from politics and academia.

Through several posts on Facebook, Hoxhaj said that on the first day of the forum he met with former Secretary-General of the Arab League, Amr Moussa, whom he described as a supporter of Kosovo.

“With Amr Moussa, former Secretary-General of the Arab League and one of the great supporters of Kosovo’s recognition from Egypt. It was a special pleasure to meet him at the Delphi Forum,” he wrote.

He also announced a meeting with former President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, whom he described as an important friend of Kosovo in Brussels.

“Today, at the Delphi Forum, I met Herman Van Rompuy, former President of the European Council and one of Kosovo’s important friends in Brussels,” his post stated.

Within the forum, Hoxhaj also met with former Foreign Minister of Greece, Evangelos Venizelos, with whom he discussed issues related to developments in Europe.

“With my friend Evangelos Venizelos, former Foreign Minister of Greece, at the Delphi Economic Forum. Always valuable to exchange ideas with a respected voice in European politics,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, he also met with two American professors, James Carafano and Charles Kupchan, describing the discussions as useful on international strategic issues.

“During my stay at the Delphi Forum, I had the pleasure of meeting two of my American intellectual friends, Professors James Carafano and Charles Kupchan. A valuable exchange on international developments and the strategic challenges of our time,” Hoxhaj wrote.

On the second day of the Delphi Economic Forum, Enver Hoxhaj is expected to address participants in a speech and take part in a panel discussion focused on current international developments and strategic challenges in the region and beyond.
