The Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights in Prishtina is set to convene on Monday morning, with key agenda items focusing on its upcoming work and a proposed invitation for reporting by the head of the Specialist Chambers.

The meeting, scheduled for 08:30, will be held by the Committee on Human Rights, Gender Equality, Labour, Family, War Values, and Petitions. Members are expected to review and approve the agenda, as well as examine the draft work plan for the spring session of 2026.

A central point of discussion will be a proposal by MP Artan Behrami to send an official invitation to Ekaterina Trendafilova, requesting her to report before the committee.

Trendafilova serves as the President of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers, a court dealing with war crimes allegations related to the Kosovo conflict. The proposed invitation is expected to be reviewed and put to a vote during the session.

The meeting will conclude with discussions under “other matters,” following the formal agenda items.
