With the ceasefire between the United States and Iran nearing its end and uncertainty growing over future talks, Tehran has declared that it is ready to continue the conflict if necessary.
The semi-official Iranian news agency Tasnim reported that Iran is “fully prepared for the possibility of a renewed war,” according to Sky News.
The report claims that preparations include military repositioning, the drafting of target lists, and what it described as “new surprises.”
The statement comes in parallel with earlier remarks from US President Donald Trump, who said the US military is “ready for action” following stockpiling efforts during the ceasefire period.
“We have so much ammunition, so many things… we’ve used this time to stock up, and they probably did a little stockpiling too,” Trump said.
The situation remains highly tense as the temporary truce approaches its expiration, with both sides signaling readiness for escalation if diplomacy fails.
