The inauguration ceremony of Kosovo’s newly elected President, academic Justina Shiroka-Pula, will be held today at 3 p.m. in the courtyard of the Presidency in Prishtina.
The Presidency said representatives of Kosovo’s institutions, invited guests and other officials are expected to attend the ceremony.
Shiroka-Pula was elected president with 81 votes in the Kosovo Assembly during a late-night session on Tuesday, narrowly avoiding a constitutional deadline that could have triggered early parliamentary elections.
The inauguration ceremony will be covered by local and international media.
