The Assembly of Kosovo has today approved four additional draft laws as part of its legislative agenda, concluding its current plenary session.

Among the laws adopted are the financing of water services, the social and accessible housing law, the law on explosive materials, and the law on the matriculation (matura) exam.

With the approval of these legislative items, the current session’s work has been completed, while lawmakers are expected to continue with two additional sessions scheduled for tomorrow.

One of the upcoming meetings will be a solemn session held in honor of former U.S. Congressman Eliot Engel, recognizing his longstanding support for Kosovo.

This will be followed by another plenary session featuring 10 agenda points, including a vote on a draft resolution aimed at strengthening institutional care for the Albanian communities in Preševo Valley (Preshevë, Medvegjë and Bujanoc).

Lawmakers are also expected to vote on the appointment of members to several independent institutions, including the Independent Media Commission, the Kosovo Judicial Council, and the Board of RTK.

The busy legislative agenda highlights ongoing institutional efforts to advance governance reforms and address both domestic and diaspora-related issues.
