Kosovo Energy Corporation Launches Project to Build Bridges over the Sitnica River and Ash Dump Canal

The Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) has signed a contract worth €33,399.99 for the construction of bridges between conveyor belts TMLA2 and TMLB2, crossing the Sitnica River and the water drainage canal from the ash dump.

According to the contract award notice published on October 8, 2026, the contract was awarded to the economic operator N.N.SH. “Vizion Project,” Rks News reports.

The estimated contract value was €50,000, while the agreement was signed on September 18, 2026. The planned completion period is three months.

According to the procurement documents, six bids were submitted, four of which were deemed compliant.

The lowest-priced compliant bid was €33,399.99, while the highest reached €46,964.

The procurement procedure was conducted through an open tender, with the contract awarded based on the lowest-price criterion.
