The British Embassy in Kosovo has extended its congratulations to Kosovo for gaining recognition from Kenya, highlighting this milestone as a continuation of Kosovo’s momentum toward strengthening its diplomatic ties and international cooperation.
“Congratulations to Kosovo for Kenya’s decision to recognize its independence! This continues the momentum towards reinforcing Kosovo’s diplomatic relations and cooperation worldwide,” stated the embassy’s message.
Kenya officially recognized Kosovo’s statehood on March 26, 2025, a significant step after years of stalled recognition efforts.
Kosovo’s Ambassador to Kenya, Behgjet Pacolli, expressed his satisfaction with the development and shared that he had been lobbying and engaging in discussions with Kenyan authorities since 2009 to achieve this recognition.
