The United States Embassy in Pristina has congratulated the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) on its first-ever participation in the international SOF Week 2026 event, where Kosovo was represented alongside allied and partner nations.
In a statement published on social media, the U.S. Embassy emphasized that the KSF’s participation marks an important step in strengthening international partnerships and advancing cooperation in the field of security.
“Congratulations to the Kosovo Security Force on its first participation in SOF Week 2026, proudly representing Kosovo alongside allied and partner nations while advancing cooperation, readiness, and shared security,” the embassy stated.
SOF Week 2026 was held in Tampa and brought together special operations forces, security experts, and international partners from dozens of countries around the world.
According to the organizers, the event focused on enhancing operational readiness, developing capabilities, and strengthening cooperation among partner nations.
The participation of the KSF highlights Kosovo’s growing engagement with international security partners and its continued efforts to enhance interoperability and cooperation with allied forces.
