The Kremlin stated today that the meeting between the United States, Ukraine, and several European countries in Paris provided an opportunity for the U.S. Special Envoy, Steve Witkoff, to inform them about the current status of peace talks for a resolution in Ukraine, as reported by Rks News.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a long conversation with Witkoff last week.
“The United States continues to work in this direction with the Europeans and the Ukrainians,” Peskov said, according to Reuters.
