The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, received the Adjutant General of the Iowa National Guard, Major General Stephen Osborn, for an official visit today. The meeting was conducted within the framework of the long-standing state partnership and close military cooperation between the KSF and the State of Iowa.
According to an official statement, General Jashari extended a warm welcome to General Osborn and his accompanying delegation, expressing profound gratitude for the continuous support the Iowa National Guard has provided in the development and advancement of KSF’s operational capacities.
During the meeting, the two generals discussed strategic initiatives to further deepen bilateral cooperation. The talks focused specifically on the planning and execution of joint military activities, specialized training programs, and the exchange of professional expertise. This visit reaffirms the strategic bond between the two forces as the KSF continues its transition into a professional defense force aligned with NATO standards.
