The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Third Deputy Prime Minister for Minority Affairs and Human Rights, Emilija Rexhepi, and Chief of Staff Luan Dalipi, welcomed representatives and leaders of the Chamber of Commerce of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to a statement from the Government, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that the meeting symbolizes a commitment to enhance cooperation and to promote mutual prosperity.
Kurti highlighted the important role that the business communities of both countries can play, noting their potential to increase trade exchange and to create investment partnerships that would benefit both Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He further stated that increasing trade flows and reducing logistical barriers creates a cooperative business environment for the benefit of both nations.
Kurti also mentioned that the decision to unilaterally allow citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to enter Kosovo with only biometric ID cards, effective from January 1, 2025, serves as a stimulus for free movement and improved bilateral relations.
