Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov sparked controversy during a press conference in India after angrily confronting a journalist whose phone rang in the middle of the event.

“Listen, can you let us continue? I’m not joking,” Lavrov said before calling security over. He then added: “Sir, if you don’t hand over the phone, they will pull out a gun, you know.”

Although some in the room laughed, Lavrov appeared visibly irritated, and the moment quickly spread across social media, triggering strong reactions online.
