The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, has confirmed that he will attend the meeting called by Prime Minister Albin Kurti tomorrow.
“Deeply believing that the Republic of Kosovo urgently needs institutional unblocking and the restoration of the regular functioning of its highest legislative institution, as well as to open the constitutional paths for the formation of the Government, I will positively respond to this invitation for a meeting,” Krasniqi wrote.
“In this spirit, I encourage Mr. Kurti to reflect responsibly on the current situation and show a sincere willingness to enable the formation of new institutions so that Kosovo can have a legitimate and functional Assembly and Government as soon as possible.”
“In this context, finding a suitable candidate, who enjoys the support of the majority of deputies, would be an important step forward.”
“Naturally, regarding the issue of Vice Speakers of the Assembly, there is nothing to discuss, as this is a right guaranteed by the Constitution and clearly defined.”
