Arbërie Nagavci, head of the Vetëvendosje Movement’s parliamentary group, has stressed the need for greater institutional coordination regarding the judicial proceedings against four former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) leaders and the upcoming appeal phase.
Nagavci said Vetëvendosje had expressed reservations about addressing the issue through a draft law, but had supported the MPs who believed this was the right course of action.
“We expressed our reservations about addressing this issue through a draft law. Nevertheless, we supported the MPs who believed this was the right course of action,” Nagavci said.
She also emphasised the importance of coordination among institutions when dealing with issues of national interest.
