Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti announced that he welcomed OSCE Secretary General Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu in Pristina, following their previous meeting in May on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit in Yerevan, Armenia.
Kurti thanked Ambassador Sinirlioğlu for the continued cooperation and the contribution of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo to strengthening democratic institutions, promoting human rights, and supporting the rule of law.
“I thanked Ambassador Sinirlioğlu for the continued cooperation and contribution of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo in strengthening democratic institutions, promoting human rights, and supporting the rule of law.
We are convinced that genuine stability is achieved by strengthening democratic institutions, ensuring equal rights for all, and fighting corruption and organized crime.
Alongside democratic progress, Kosovo has also achieved sustainable economic development. We have increased our Gross Domestic Product to €12 billion, while making significant progress in strengthening the rule of law and public security. International assessments now recognize Kosovo as one of the safest countries in Europe,” Kurti said.
