Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, received OSCE Secretary General Ambassador Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu in an official meeting.
Following the meeting, Haxhiu said she appreciated the contribution of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo to the development of the country’s institutions and emphasized the need for the organization’s cooperation to reflect Kosovo’s current realities and challenges.
“During the meeting, I acknowledged the OSCE Mission’s contribution to the development of our institutions and stressed the need for our cooperation to adapt to the realities and challenges of today’s Kosovo.
I highlighted the importance of Kosovo’s direct participation in forums where our country is discussed, accurate reporting on security issues, and continued support for the rule of law, the rights of communities, and democratic resilience.
Kosovo remains committed to peace, security, regional cooperation, and to continuing its close partnership with the OSCE,” Haxhiu wrote.
