Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, has praised Sudan’s official recognition of Kosovo’s independence, calling it a highly significant development for the country. In a Facebook post, Pacolli highlighted that this recognition marks the continuation of a new wave of support for Kosovo, which was initially sparked by Kenya’s recent recognition.

“As we anticipated, Kenya’s recognition, as one of the most powerful countries in Africa, has triggered a wave of recognitions for our country. Sudan’s recognition is fantastic news. Congratulations, Kosovo!” wrote Pacolli.

He also took the opportunity to commend President Vjosa Osmani for her diplomatic efforts, particularly at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, where she is holding various important meetings with international leaders.

“I also congratulate President Osmani for her work at the Antalya Forum. Congratulations, Kosovo!” Pacolli concluded.

The recognition by Sudan marks another important step in Kosovo’s ongoing efforts to secure broader international recognition, particularly from African nations. Kosovo continues to gain support globally, further solidifying its place on the world stage.
