Palestinian Security Forces Prepare for Release of 369 Prisoners

In Ramallah, on the occupied West Bank, Palestinian security forces are preparing for the release of prisoners.

A total of 369 prisoners are expected to be freed today.

This includes 29 from the West Bank and seven from Jerusalem and its outskirts, 24 of whom will be deported, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Association.

Approximately 333 individuals arrested in Gaza since October 7, 2023, will also be released, according to the group.

The released Palestinian prisoners include some who were sentenced for deadly attacks on Israelis, but most were arrested during the conflict and held without trial or charge.
