The Parliament of Albania has approved an important draft resolution related to the country’s European Union integration process, in a vote marked by broad political consensus among the main parties.
The initiative was supported by both the Socialist Party of Albania and the Democratic Party of Albania, marking one of the rare instances of direct cooperation between the two rival parties in parliament.
The resolution passed with 114 votes in favor, while only one lawmaker abstained and none voted against, reflecting a unified political stance regarding Albania’s European path.
The document foresees institutional commitment and comprehensive cooperation aimed at accelerating reforms linked to the country’s accession process into the European Union.
The initiative has also received support at the highest political levels and has been described as a clear signal of Albania’s commitment to advancing its European agenda.
