Brigadier General Andreas Pfeifer, Director of Operations of the German Bundeswehr at the Joint Forces Operations Command, is currently on an official visit to the Kosovo Security Force (KSF).
The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, hosted Brigadier General Andreas Pfeifer, who is visiting as Director of Operations at the German Joint Forces Operations Command.
According to the KSF, General Jashari thanked General Pfeifer for the continued support that the Bundeswehr has provided in building the KSF’s capabilities.
“General Jashari also discussed his objectives regarding the development of the Force in fulfilling its constitutional and legal mission. Meanwhile, General Pfeifer congratulated General Jashari for his vision in leading the KSF and enhancing its capabilities,” the statement reads.
It was further noted that both generals concluded the meeting by discussing joint activities and further opportunities to deepen cooperation between the two armed forces, in the interest of maintaining peace and security and strengthening interoperability.
