The Kosovo Police have announced that they conducted another search today in North Mitrovica.
“On November 21, 2024, following information received about suspected weapons and ammunition, police units took immediate action and carried out a search on Kralj Petri Street in North Mitrovica. During the search, weapons, ammunition, and various equipment were found under the roof of a building,” the statement reads.
During the operation, the police uncovered weapons, ammunition, and radio communication devices.

North Mitrovica, November 21, 2024
“On November 21, 2024, following information received about suspected weapons and ammunition, police units took immediate action and carried out a search on Kralj Petri Street in North Mitrovica. During the search, weapons, ammunition, and various equipment were found under the roof of a building.”
Evidence found and confiscated includes:
- One AK-47 rifle
- Five magazines with AK-47 ammunition
- 136 AK-47 bullets
- One shoulder bag
- Two handheld radios
- One vehicle radio
- Two radio chargers
- One additional AK-47 barrel
At this stage of the investigation, several individuals from the building have been interviewed, and further actions will be taken in collaboration and coordination with the judicial authorities.
