The Office of the Presidency of Kosovo has released the official agenda of acting President Albulena Haxhiu for Thursday.
According to the announcement, Haxhiu will meet with political party representatives at 15:00 to discuss setting a date for early elections.
“At 15:00, the Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, will host a consultative meeting with political parties regarding the determination of the date for early elections. Media will be allowed to capture footage at the beginning of the meeting,” the statement said.
Earlier today, Haxhiu also met with the head of the Central Election Commission of Kosovo, Kreshnik Radoniqi, where they discussed the same issue.
Radoniqi indicated that the CEC prefers the latest possible date for holding the elections, which would be June 7.
