Albanian students in North Macedonia have been joined by several students from Kosovo in a protest against the authorities, demanding that they be allowed to take the jurisprudence exam in the Albanian language.
A large number of young people have already gathered in front of the Stone Bridge in Skopje.
Increased police presence has also been observed on the ground, according to RTV 21.
The students are protesting to demand that the exam be allowed in Albanian, since the language has official status in the country.
Organizers have announced large participation, emphasizing that the protection of the right to use the Albanian language in institutions and professional processes is a matter of dignity and equality.
