Activists and citizens have gathered in “Skënderbe” Square to protest against the rise in electricity tariffs.
Holding banners with messages such as “The state remains silent, the citizens will not stop”, “No to the increase in electricity prices”, “Stop impoverishing the citizens”, “No light with injustice”, and “Stop the theft through tariffs”, they have expressed their opposition to the recent decision to raise electricity prices by 15%.
The protesters have gathered in front of the Government building of Kosovo, demanding that the authorities stop what they consider to be an unjust action.
The organizing group of the protest is “Not a Cent More”, which is leading this as a reaction to the rising costs of services for citizens.
