The civic group “Asnjë cent më shumë” (“Not a Cent More”) has announced that the second protest against the increase in electricity prices will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 12:00 PM at “Zahir Pajaziti” Square in Prishtina.
This protest comes following warnings from the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE) about a possible 15% increase in electricity tariffs.
Organizers emphasize that the electricity price hike is not just about a higher bill — it could also trigger an increase in the prices of food, basic goods, and services, affecting the overall cost of living.
They are demanding the suspension of the decision to raise electricity prices and are calling on citizens to join the protest to oppose this measure.
The first protest was held on April 5, 2025, where hundreds of citizens gathered to express their dissatisfaction with the proposed hike in electricity prices.
