A gathering of around 300 Serbs, mostly employed in parallel institutions funded by Serbia, took place at 13:00 in front of the police station in Graçanica, in support of school principals and health centre directors who were arrested a day earlier over allegations of voter intimidation.

The rally lasted about forty minutes and ended without incidents. No speeches were delivered, and no demands were formally read.

Some dissatisfaction among attendees reportedly arose after Igor Jovanović from the party “For Freedom, Justice and Survival,” led by Nenad Rasic, addressed the gathering.

Jovanović stated that his wife had recently lost teaching hours in three schools in central Kosovo.

Unlike most participants, he spoke openly to journalists, saying:

“I ask all these people whether they came to support 20 families left without jobs only because they do not support the Serbian List, or whether they came to support directors who admitted they received orders, even though they know they are breaking the law…”

He further claimed that many participants were pressured to attend the rally.

“90% of these people do not agree with that policy. Everyone is being blackmailed… We are still waiting for arrests. Everyone who endangers Serbs will be arrested,” Jovanović said.

According to reports, among those detained by police on suspicion of voter intimidation are directors of illegal health and education institutions, as well as a municipal assembly member from Gračanica.
