Kosovo Specialist Chambers has set new deadlines in the obstruction of justice case involving Hashim Thaçi, Isni Kilaj, Bashkim Smakaj, Fadil Fazliu, and Hajredin Kuçi.

The court has instructed the parties to submit written filings by April 22 regarding the next procedural steps. These submissions are expected to help determine the schedule for the remaining phase of the trial.

Meanwhile, May 5 has been set as an indicative deadline for the Defence to notify the court about the closure of their respective cases. This deadline remains subject to confirmation after the review of the parties’ submissions.

The court emphasized that, with these developments, the trial is entering a new procedural phase, where the next steps toward concluding the remaining part of the proceedings are expected to be clarified.
