The Kosovo Police, in coordination with the State Prosecutor, has initiated necessary investigative actions to identify and arrest the suspects involved in the robbery that took place today near ‘Albi Mall’ in Veternik. The target of the heist was a van from the company “Istambul Ozel Guvenlik” that was transporting cash.
One of the security officers from the company, Fahri Ademi, was injured during the incident, and his identity was exclusively published by Sinjali earlier. Additional details have now emerged.
A few minutes after the robbery, a man with injuries to his leg and chest sought medical assistance at the emergency center in Gracanica.
Based on initial information, this individual is suspected to be one of the robbers.
The person in question is Millosh Vukojević, a resident of Leposaviq.
Police units are already at the scene and will soon transfer him to Prishtina.
The police have confirmed the incident and stated that they are taking necessary measures.
“At around 10:30 today, we received information about gunshots in the Veternik neighborhood in Pristina, where one person was injured. Based on the current information, it is suspected that the incident occurred during an armed robbery against individuals securing a van transporting cash.
The injured person has been sent for medical treatment, while police investigators, in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office, are taking all necessary measures to identify and arrest the suspects, as well as to clarify all the circumstances of the case.”
