U.S. President Donald Trump stated in a conversation in the Oval Office that European countries will bear the primary responsibility for assisting Ukraine, while the United States is currently not sending anything to Kyiv.
Trump was also asked whether he would support Ukraine in the future.
“I think Europe will be primarily responsible for this. We’re not offering anything, you know. It’s also about Europe,” said the president.
“We’ve had very good talks with Russia and we’ve also had very good talks with Ukraine,” he added.
