Citizens of Kosovo voted on Sunday in early parliamentary elections, the third such vote in approximately 16 months, following a prolonged political crisis and the failure to establish a stable parliamentary majority.
At 7:00 PM, the official voting period ended, marking the closure of polling stations across the country.
Under electoral rules, voters who were already inside polling stations at the time of closing were still allowed to cast their ballots.
According to data released by the Central Election Commission (CEC) at 6:54 PM, a total of 574,609 citizens had voted, representing approximately 29.32% of eligible voters. This is around 200,000 fewer voters compared to the elections held on December 28.
