Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has dismissed Serbia’s ambassador to Croatia, Jelena Milić, according to an official decision published on Tuesday in Serbia’s Official Gazette.

No specific reason has been given for her removal, but the move comes amid escalating tensions between Serbia and Croatia following the March 18 defense cooperation agreement signed in Tirana between Kosovo, Albania, and Croatia.

In parallel, Vučić has appointed Dragan Šutanovac as Serbia’s new ambassador to the United States. Additionally, Ivo Vojvodić has been designated as Serbia’s ambassador to Slovenia, Milan Ravić to Bulgaria, and Davor Trkulja to Ethiopia, with these decrees taking effect the day after publication in Serbia’s Official Gazette.
