The City Assembly of Pirot, Serbia, has unanimously declared Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić a persona non grata within its territory.
During the March 19 session, the assembly called on the city government and Mayor Vladan Vasić to take a stance on the violence against students and citizens during the “15 Minutes for 15 Lost Lives” protest held in Belgrade on March 15, as reported by Nova.
Additionally, the assembly demanded clarity on whether local authorities had provided any support to Pirot-based students injured during the protest. They also requested a list of officials from Pirot who were present at the government-backed camp for “students who want to study.”
In a follow-up session on March 24, the assembly formalized its decision, officially designating Vučić as an unwelcome figure in the city.
