Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has stated that Serbia is ready to finance the construction of a highway that would extend to the north of Kosovo, including the area of Mitrovica.
He said the project includes a segment up to Jarinje and that Belgrade is prepared to cover all construction costs.
Vučić added that he expects the United States to ensure that Kosovo does not create obstacles to the implementation of this infrastructure project.
His statements have sparked reactions, and further developments regarding the plan are expected.
