Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has condemned a record number of drone attacks on his country, launched by Russia.

“Last night, Russia launched a record 145 ‘Shaheds’ and other attack drones against Ukraine,” Zelensky posted today on X, referring to the Iranian-made kamikaze drones.

“Throughout the week, Russia has attacked Ukraine with over 800 guided aerial bombs, around 600 attack drones, and nearly 20 missiles of various types,” Zelensky said.

“Such terror cannot be stopped with words, and the killing of children and the loss of loved ones cannot be forgotten. Security from terror is impossible without bold decisions – this is clear for every nation. Without justice, there can be no lasting peace, and it is entirely realistic for Ukraine to achieve that,” wrote the Ukrainian president.
