Citizens, activists, children, and elderly participants gathered again on Thursday for the 47th consecutive day of protests, continuing their demonstrations outside the Prime Minister’s Office.
As in previous days, protesters delivered speeches from the podium, with the gathering beginning at the usual time around 7:00 PM.
Chanting “New Albania” and “Edi Rama, resign”, protesters marched toward the Prime Minister’s Office, carrying banners and flags.
Despite the high temperatures, demonstrators continued their protest, with many young people taking part in a symbolic action on the 47th day. Dressed in graduation gowns, students joined the protest carrying signs with various messages.
The demonstrations have continued for more than a month, with participants demanding political changes and accountability from the government.
