President Vjosa Osmani stated that “Kosovo and Albania stand together in every challenge and every success, with close political and institutional coordination and shared commitment,” following her meeting earlier today with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Osmani added that she received Rama in Prishtina in a “fraternal spirit.”

“Today, I had the pleasure of welcoming the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama, in the fraternal spirit that unites us. This cooperation reflects a shared national will to move forward as two states serving our citizens and our common Euro-Atlantic future,” she wrote in a Facebook post.

After meeting with Osmani and jointly attending a book promotion, Rama also met with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

Rama was received with a state ceremony, including a red carpet and an honor guard.

There was no press conference following the meeting with Osmani or after the meeting with Kurti.
