Russia launched 453 drones toward Ukraine during overnight attacks, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Of the total number, 409 drones were neutralized, while 13 targets were hit.
In the city of Stryi, in the Lviv region near the border with Poland, drone strikes damaged a multi-story residential building, a facility near a school, and several structures near a railway station.
In Izyum, a 26-year-old woman was killed following the explosion of an explosive device. Meanwhile, Kharkiv and 15 settlements across the region came under attack, leaving three people injured, including a 73-year-old woman.
A massive attack was also reported in the Volyn region in western Ukraine, where the strikes lasted for more than four hours. According to local authorities, at least five people were injured, while more than 10 drones were reported in the region’s airspace.
In Lutsk, a train that had been evacuated was hit by debris, sparking a fire. Authorities said that no one was injured.
Meanwhile, Russian authorities reported that Ukraine had struck oil refineries in Tatarstan, marking another escalation in the reciprocal attacks between the two countries.
