Train services in Kosovo are expected to be disrupted tomorrow due to a planned strike announced by the trade unions of Infrakos.

Trainkos announced today that, following the strike notices issued by Infrakos trade unions, changes to train services may occur on Monday, November 9.

Train No. 4201, scheduled to depart from Pristina at 7:50 a.m., will terminate its journey in Fushë Kosovë, as Infrakos, the railway infrastructure manager, is expected to suspend its services at 8:00 a.m.

Following the departure of this train, all other train services will be suspended due to the interruption of railway infrastructure services and will remain halted until the situation returns to normal, according to the announcement.

Trainkos has asked passengers for their understanding and reaffirmed its commitment to restoring railway transport services as soon as conditions allow.

“We will inform you promptly of any further changes,” the announcement stated.

It is worth recalling that Infrakos employees announced their intention to go on strike during a protest held on October 26 in front of the railway station in Fushë Kosovë. They stated that the company’s board and management had failed to meet their demands regarding salary indexation, improved working conditions, and workplace safety.
