The Kosovo Police Union has extended its congratulations on the 18th anniversary of Kosovo’s independence, stating that February 17 symbolizes the sacrifice, dedication, and determination of entire generations for freedom, statehood, and dignity.

This day symbolizes the sacrifice, dedication, and determination of entire generations for freedom, statehood, and dignity. It is the day that crowned the centuries-long effort for an independent and sovereign state, serving its citizens and our shared future. As representatives of the Kosovo Police workforce, our Union reaffirms its commitment to protecting the professional, economic, and social rights and interests of our members, while simultaneously contributing to the strengthening of constitutional order, public safety, and the rule of law in the country,” reads the message from the Kosovo Police Union.
