Activist Vasfije Krasniqi, a survivor of sexual violence during the Kosovo War, spoke at the “Justice, Not Politics” protest in Prishtina.
She emphasized that freedom never comes by itself and insisted that the former UÇK leaders should be released.
“Thank you for serving the homeland when it needed you most. Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi must be freed—they defended their people,” Krasniqi said.
Hundreds of citizens gathered in the capital’s square demanding justice as the trial of the former UÇK leaders nears its conclusion.
