Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared that Russia will continue to strengthen its armed forces, drawing on combat experience gained during what Moscow calls its “special military operation.”
“We will continue large-scale work to strengthen the Army and Navy, taking into account international developments, relying on the combat experience gained during the special military operation, and building on the powerful capabilities of our industry, science, and high-tech enterprises,” Putin said.
He added that the development of Russia’s nuclear triad — land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles, submarine-launched ballistic missiles, and strategic bombers — remains an “unconditional priority.”
“The development of the nuclear triad, which ensures Russia’s security and enables us to effectively guarantee strategic deterrence and the balance of power in the world, remains an absolute priority,” he stated.
Putin further emphasized that Russia will continue improving the quality and potential of all branches of the Armed Forces, increasing combat readiness, mobility, and their ability to operate under any conditions, including the most challenging ones.
