Internationally renowned Albanian singer Bebe Rexha has been honored with the prestigious “Female Icon Award 2026” at the EDM Awards, recognizing her impact and contribution to the global dance music scene.
Clearly moved by the achievement, Rexha shared a video on Instagram showing the moment she received the award, expressing gratitude to her fans and the electronic music community for their continued support.
“Wow, thank you EDMAs. This is unbelievable. ‘Female Icon Award 2026’. I want to thank my fans who have supported me through this crazy journey. Thanks also to the dance music community for embracing me. Dance music has always been a huge part of my life. It’s been my escape, my therapy — and it still is today. There’s nothing like hearing your song at a festival, in a club, or in a car. When it comes to dance music, the feeling is completely different. Thank you again. And make sure to check out my new song ‘New Religion’ with the amazing group Faithless — it’s out now. Cheers,” she said.
In recent years, Rexha has been highly active in the euro-dance genre, delivering global hits such as I’m Good (Blue) and One in a Million, further solidifying her place in the international music industry.
This award marks another major milestone in her career, confirming her strong influence on the global electronic music scene.
