District heating company Termokos has officially concluded the 2025/2026 heating season, marking one of the longest and most successful operational periods in its history.
According to the company, the season lasted 191 consecutive days, providing uninterrupted heating services to more than 25,000 consumers. The decision to end the სეზon was made in accordance with regulations set by the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE), as well as current weather forecasts.
Termokos noted that this season began eight days earlier than usual and was completed without any service interruptions—an unprecedented achievement for the company.
During this period, a total of 338,902 MWh of thermal energy was produced, ensuring stable and reliable heating for households and businesses across the network.
The company also reported that over 60 percent of consumers benefited from lower heating bills, largely due to improvements in service delivery and the implementation of consumption-based billing. Additionally, customer complaints decreased by approximately 70 percent compared to the previous season.
Termokos attributed these results to improved operational management and ongoing staff commitment, emphasizing its continued focus on enhancing service quality and expanding heating infrastructure.
The company confirmed that it will now proceed with its summer action plan, which includes maintenance works, network expansion, and the implementation of capital projects in preparation for the next heating season.
