Kosovo’s Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci, during his official visit to Germany, held a meeting with Nils Schmid, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Defense.
The meeting focused on advancing bilateral cooperation in the field of security and defense, as well as Germany’s continued support for strengthening the capacities of the Kosovo Security Force. The role of Germany within the KFOR mission was also highlighted.
Both sides discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in the defense industry, increase interoperability, and implement joint training programs.
Minister Maqedonci expressed gratitude for Germany’s support, reiterating Kosovo’s commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership, developing according to NATO standards, and contributing to peace and stability in the region.
