Emmanuel Macron has reacted following the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, DC, where Donald Trump was present.
In a post on the social platform “X,” Macron described the incident as unacceptable, stressing that violence has no place in a democratic society.
He also expressed full support for President Trump following the event.
“The armed attack targeting the President of the United States is unacceptable. Violence has no place in a democracy. I express my full support for Donald Trump,” Macron wrote.
