Former FBI Director James Comey has surrendered to authorities following accusations that he threatened U.S. President Donald Trump.
Comey has denied any wrongdoing, stating that he was unaware of the meaning behind the numbers in question and accusing prosecutors of acting with political motivation.
This marks the second time the Department of Justice has brought criminal charges against Comey, who has been an early and outspoken critic of Trump.
