Acting President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, where discussions focused on the upcoming electoral process scheduled for 7 June 2026.
The Presidency stated that the meeting addressed recent political developments in the country, with particular emphasis on the importance of ensuring a smooth and orderly electoral process, as well as maintaining institutional stability.
Acting President Haxhiu thanked the United Kingdom for its continued support to the Republic of Kosovo and underlined the importance of the close partnership between the two countries, according to the official statement.
