Following protests held in Skopje and Tirana, the next demonstration in support of Albanian students in North Macedonia will take place in Pristina. The students are demanding that the Jurisprudence exam be conducted in the Albanian language.
Student activist Mevlan Ademi, who has also led previous protests, stated that the students are only asking for their rights and equal treatment.
Speaking from Tirana, he emphasized that Albanians once again proved that they know how to unite when it comes to their language and identity.
“They proved that when it comes to our identity and our language, we know how to stand together. We are not against anyone — we are only standing for our rights and for our language, which has been defended with blood,” he said.
