The European Union Special Envoy for the Kosovo–Serbia dialogue, Peter Sørensen, has held a meeting with the United Kingdom’s Special Envoy, Dame Karen Pierce.
The main topic of the meeting was the dialogue process between Kosovo and Serbia, reports IndeksOnline.
Through a public post, Sørensen said the discussion focused on the importance of continued engagement in the dialogue process, as well as cooperation between the European Union and the United Kingdom in advancing the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
“We discussed the Belgrade–Pristina Dialogue, the importance of sustained engagement, and our shared EU–UK goal of advancing normalization,” the post stated.
The meeting comes at a time when international actors are intensifying efforts to continue the dialogue process and implement previously reached agreements between the two sides.
